The OnCommand Connection mobile app provides customers with real time updates on their vehicles, showing the activity, faults, and health reports.

Please use the information below to help you understand the operation of the OnCommand Connection mobile app.

Menu Bar

The menu bar provides the following options:

Preferences: Select the unit of measure and the time zone. The unit of measure will change on the health reports and the time zone will change for the vehicle scan times. Tap Save once you have selected your preferences. This will close the menu.

Filters: Select the fault severities and the fleet accounts. Tap Save once you have selected your filters.

Logout: This will log you out of the mobile app.

Close Panel: This closes the menu panel.

NOTE: Once you have saved from either section, the menu will close and the Activity tab list will automatically refresh to reflect your changes.

Help Icon

Tap on the help icon to display the help screen.

Refresh Scan Data

To refresh the scan data on the dashboard, scroll to the top of the data results and drag your finger down the screen. You will see a message saying the app is loading latest data.

To load more scan data, scroll to the bottom of the data results and drag your finger up the screen. You will see a message saying the app is checking for more data. New data is added to the current data list. If there is no new data, nothing will be added.

Activity Tab

This tab provides a list of vehicle health reports based on the fault severity criteria settings in the filters section.

The data will load according to the last scan time made on the vehicle.

Icons:

To search, tap the magnifying glass icon next to the activity tab. To select a date range, tap anywhere on the from and to options.

To search by unit or VIN, select from the Search Type drop-down. Next, type your text criteria in the text-box to the right.

Tap on the vehicle to view the vehicle's health report.

Assets Tab

The Assets tab shows all of the vehicle health reports in the fleet regardless of whether or not there is a fault severity.

A clock icon may be shown based on the following:

To search, tap the magnifying glass icon next to the Assets tab. Next, select from the search by drop-down and type your text criteria in the text-box below. You may choose from sort by drop-down (optional) if you wish to sort your results. Finally, tap search.

Tap on the vehicle to view the vehicle’s health report.

Watch List Tab

The Watch List tab is your personal favorites list. To add a health report to this watch list, tap add to watch list from the health report.

To remove a health report from your watch list, select the watch list tab and tap remove next to the health report.

Health Report

Health reports are accessible through both the activity tab and assets tab.

NOTE: The header sections (dark gray horizontal bars) can collapse or expand by clicking on them.

Fault Code Action Plans:

If a vehicle has faults, they will be listed in the Faults category. Each fault listed comes with a Fault Code Action Plan (FCAP). Tap on fault code action plan to view the FCAP PDF file.

To close the Fault Code Action Plan PDF:

If you have an Android phone, to return to the health report, tap the Back button on your device.

If you have an iPhone, tap Done to return to the health report.

Find a Local Dealer:

To search for nearby dealers and vendors, tap Find a Local Dealer.

To further refine your search, select a different radius from the Set Distance drop-down and any additional vendor types from the Select Vendor Types dropdown. Tap Locate.

The results are sorted by vendor type and list location name, proximity, phone and address. To view this location on a map, tap View Map.
